First, thank you! Before 2019 officially comes to a close, I wanted to take a minute to let you know how grateful we are for your business. Some of you have been with us since we started our health company in late 2009, others have just arrived this past year. I can’t emphasize how grateful we are for each and every one of you.
2019 was our best performing year in the 10 years we’ve been involved in the health supplement industry. Not only that, Athlete‘s Best received two Registered Trademarks this year and was approached by a couple publicly traded companies to acquire our brand. Helping others achieve their best health is a passion of ours, and we are able to do this through Athlete‘s Best. Our business is fueled by word of mouth, and we can’t thank you enough for your continued support.
We’ve worked with hundreds of professional athletes over the years, but 2019 was the year when the flood gates truly opened. We received multiple inquiries from professional athletes and agents on a daily basis. While many were looking for us to sponsor them, others wanted to be paying customers on the condition of anonymity. We have some of the highest paid and most successful Major League Baseball players and professional tennis players now using our products.
It’s been a wonderful year for Athlete‘s Best® and that leads me into the next segment…
The Importance of Goal Setting &
A Better Way to Set a Proper Goal!
I’m assuming you’ll see 100 articles posted online over the next couple of days regarding the importance of setting goals for the new year, but I wanted to write about how I approach my goal setting within our company and towards my personal health.
When setting any goal, I break it down into the following steps:
1) Name the Desired Outcome
2) Identify The Desired Feeling
3) Outline Daily Actionable Steps
Most people only focus on Step #1 and completely ignore Steps 2 and 3, or they confuse Step #1 as the actual goal. This ultimately leads to failure, thus creating frustration and negative self-talk that only exacerbates the issue. For example, let’s say you ‘set a goal’ to lose 10 pounds in 2020, or to make $50,000 in extra income. These are not a desire or a goal. They are an outcome.
1) Do not confuse the outcome as the end-all goal.
As mentioned above, losing 10 pounds or making $50,000 in income are outcomes. Walking 10,000 steps a day, eliminating processed foods in your diet, or releasing a new article for your business each Sunday are examples of actionable goals.
2) Understand the feeling associated with the outcome.
Why do you want to lose weight in the new year? Is it to feel more confident? To feel more energetic? To feel healthier? These reasons add the fuel necessary to drive you towards achieving your goal. Simply wanting to be thinner is not motivational enough. And why would you want to achieve an extra $50,000 as a goal? To feel accomplished? To feel more financial freedom, thus allowing you more time with the people you love? Identify the desired feelings you want to achieve and make sure that your goals are yours to begin with. If someone else made the goal for you, it may not motivate you enough to stick with it.
3) You forget to make actionable goals to implement in your daily life.
You’ve probably heard of SMART goals, or “Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timely” goals. SMART goals give you clarity and a timeline for achieving them.
Goals are more complex than simply stating an outcome. If you’re going to consistently give yourself a legitimate shot at achieving your stated ‘goals’, you must correctly identify the three areas listed above. There’s no specific order for recognizing your goals. Just remember, the desire is the fuel that keeps you engaged and committed to your daily actionable steps to help you achieve your goals.
I’ll end this topic with one last note. Keep your thoughts positive and believe in yourself. Your daily thoughts will always influence your daily actions. If you don’t believe something is possible, it will never happen. No negative self talk and always believe in YOURSELF!
Add Vitality Force to your 2020 Health Regimen
Vitality Force is a natural nitric oxide producer that is loaded with essential nutrients. It is the perfect supplement to add to your health regimen for 2020.
When your body produces plenty of nitric oxide, it does many incredible things for your health. For example, it…
► Tells your arteries to relax so they open wider and blood flows freely—promoting healthy blood pressure!
► Fuels your body with a long-lasting energy surge, boosting your stamina and performance!
►Helps your brain send and receive signals more quickly, so you can think faster on your feet and feel more alert!
► Signals your immune system to kill bacteria, viruses, and other dangerous invaders!
► Lifts your mood and sense of well-being, so you get more joy out of life!
► Allows your muscles and joints to recover faster, so you can keep active and move freely!
You can see how having plenty of nitric oxide is so crucial…and so life-enhancing. Our Athlete’s Best Vitality Force is 100% all natural with bio-available nutrients, without synthetic ingredients or artificial flavors.
This comes in an easy to drink powder mix and our most popular flavors are Grape, Orange, and then Peach. We will be discontinuing the Pina Colada flavor once they officially sell out.
