We have some exciting news regarding our CBD oil tinctures. We entered the CBD market in early October with some of the most pure CBD products available to purchase. We used a nano-sized broad spectrum cannabinoid-rich hemp extract with 0.0% THC that provided great results for our customers. We always strive for perfection and thus, we have made some significant upgrades to our already fantastic product.

Peppermint Flavor
We are upgrading from a hemp seed oil & grape seed oil combo to a Certified Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil for the Peppermint & Natural Flavors. Certified Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil was chosen as it provides superior protection for the cannabinoids from being broken down by your stomach acid. Olive oil is a long chain triglyceride which will help encapsulate the cannabinoids and work better to protect them within your digestion system for even higher absorption. Plus, by choosing Certified Organic, you know you are getting the most pure ingredients available.
Lemon & Orange Flavor
We are upgrading the Lemon & Orange flavored tinctures from a basic MCT carrier oil to a Certified Organic MCT Oil. Choosing certified organic adds a much higher level of guaranteed purity, but also allows for higher bioavailability of the nutrients. Certified Organic MCT oil comes from the flesh of young coconuts that are cold pressed and slow chilled, which creates a final product that is high purity with no harsh chemicals. MCT oil has also been shown to provide a number of reported health benefits as a standalone dietary supplement.
2. Essential Oils are now Certified Organic
At Athlete’s Best™, we’re all about creating the most pure products possible and even though we had sourced organic ingredients previously, we now can announce that they are indeed certified organic.
3. Increased Terpene Levels!!
We still use the same great nano-sized broad spectrum CBD that provides all the supporting cannabinoids (without THC) and trace amounts of terpenes. We have taken this a step further by greatly increasing the terpene content. Terpenes play a significant part in providing the user with what is known as “The Entourage Effect”. The entourage effect basically means that the consumer is experiencing the full benefits that nature intended to provide. The new Athlete’s Best CBD oil tincture formula will provide the “Entourage Effect” WITHOUT the intoxicating effects of THC.
β‑Caryophyllene – Directly triggers part of your endocannabinoid system and helps provide the entourage effect without the intoxicating effects.
Myrcene – Lowers the inhibition of the blood brain barrier which will allow cannabinoids to transmit more rapidly which will provide for quicker uptake and absorption of the product.
Humulene – Helps round out the benefits of CBD usage for overall health and wellness.
