It’s Time to Improve Your Endurance

By January 10, 2013Uncategorized

It’s natural that sometimes we just don’t have the time to exercise. But when we go long periods of time without working out or exercising regularly, we can lose muscle, gain weight, and lose the endurance we once had. Even professional or recreational athletes who exercise daily can lose endurance just from getting over-tired or stuck into a routine. You might think of the word “endurance” and think it is just our ability to exert ourselves for a long period of time. While that definition is correct, it is so much more. Endurance is also the ability to resist, recover from and have immunity to trauma, wounds, or fatigue.

Many who have used our Athlete’s Best Omega-3s have said that their endurance has improved while taking the supplement. What makes our Omega-3s increase endurance is greatly attributed to the astaxanthin. Astaxanthin has been shown to help maintain muscle mass and improve recovery from strenuous exercise. Astaxanthin is not something manufactured by scientists in a lab; it is an all natural substance found in krill, and it’s what gives salmon their pinkish hue. Astaxanthin lets your body use more of your lipids (fats) for its movement instead of the energy stored in your muscles. Since your muscles have more energy stored in them, your body can work for a longer period of time. Athlete’s Best has formulated our product with just the right amount to provide maximum efficiency.

For professional or recreational athletes, the astaxanthin in our Omega-3s can give them the extra boost they need to finish their workout, or get through a difficult game. For those who want to start getting back into shape again, what better way to give your system an extra boost. Imagine, for example, someone wanting to get into shape with very low endurance, well, they can only do so much before they have exhausted themselves. But if they were taking our Omega-3s, it would give them a push to go farther, do a little more, and a little can go a long way when it comes to getting into shape. Besides, what person, athlete or not, wouldn’t want to benefit from the ability to recover and resist injury as well? With the all natural astaxanthin in Athlete’s Best Omega-3s, our bodies can really work to its full potential.
